San Marcos Puerto

As you know Larna is mostly an inland city, and it has a huge industry which employs large number of Sims and generates office jobs. Unless Larna had a huge rail  system to connect to Cihuatlan, and to give way to exportations, most industrials would feel stocked in their expansionist spirit. But, Costal cities did not want to see their environments destroyed due to a huge  traffic of cargo ships

The only way to help this situation was to create an artificial port inland in some of the territorial reserves of Larna in order to allow to industrials to have comerce and to expand their markets. That way San Marcos Puerto came to be the first Artificial Port of Larna.

San Marcos was made by dragging large scale channels forming three large islands devoted to serve to maritime trading. Infraestructure is currently under construction but the most concluded terminal is the one for containers.

Current View of Larna

Long time since the last post, I am so sorry to have abandoned this blog. Next picture show Larna Urban Area with the new  Charles V Airport.

I also have worked in coast cities, I have to recognize that it is easier for me to work with the orthogonal model of urbanization of Larna's core urban area, than with the some times cahotic model of urbanization of costal cities, however the results are great in both cases.
